Candidates from non-Israeli Institutes

The following information is for candidates whose Master degree is from a non-Israeli Institute. Thus it refers also to Israeli citizens whose studies, or at least their Master degree, are from abroad.

The procedure of evaluation of the previous academic studies takes time. Please follow the deadlines;

July 14st. - deadline for submission of an application to begin Ph.D. studies in October in the Humanities and Social sciences.

July 14st. - deadline for submission of an application to begin Ph.D. studies in October in the experimental sciences.

December 1st. - deadline for submission of an application to begin Ph.D. studies in the 2nd semester (February/March).*

 

The list of the required documents and instructions for submitting the application are detailed on the application form (please see below). Candidates are required to submit original diplomas and records of studies (Bachelor and Master studies).

The decision upon acceptance is made by the Doctorate Committee in the relevant field of studies.

After an acceptance decision is taken, the Authority for Research Students issues an acceptance letter, with which a foreign candidate should address the Israeli representatives in his/her country in order to receive a Student Visa.
